3DX™ DRONE BLADE INSPECTION

The challenging weather conditions in regions with wind energy farms make it difficult to conduct adequate and regular inspections of turbine blades. This situation often leads to neglecting necessary maintenance and repair work after regular inspections, shortening the operational lifespan of turbines and reducing energy production efficiency.

Pektaş Energy provides inspection, maintenance, repair, and retrofit services for wind energy farms in Turkey and surrounding regions. Utilizing advanced drone technology, our 3DX™ platform enables us to autonomously inspect wind turbine blades quickly and safely. Unlike traditional methods, our solutions offer time and cost savings while delivering efficient results with high accuracy. Accurate data collection and timely intervention in damaged areas enhance the performance of turbine blades and, consequently, wind turbines overall.

Autonomous Flight and Data Collection

Field-planned autonomous flights enable detailed and rapid inspection of wind turbine blades. The 3DX™ inspection platform scans each turbine blade comprehensively within 1 hour (3 blades), collecting an average of 700 high-resolution photos. This minimizes turbine downtime and supports maximum energy production. Collected data is reviewed and reported by blade experts and securely stored in cloud systems.

High-Resolution Imaging and Damage Analysis

This innovative technology performs a 100% scan from 6 different angles on wind turbine blades, leaving no blind spots. It detects even the smallest damages with its collected high-resolution images. The 3DX™ platform, combining artificial intelligence and drone technology, accurately and swiftly identifies damages on the blades. Identified faults are prioritized based on severity, providing critical insights on where to start repairs and the extent of damage. This analysis enables more efficient management of maintenance and repair processes.

The collected data is securely stored in the cloud system, making it easily accessible and ensuring quick retrieval. A cloud-based data storage solution enables access to inspection results anytime and anywhere. Moreover, it establishes a reliable database filled with actionable data for comparison and trend analysis. This ensures the highest level of security and accessibility for the data needed in the maintenance and repair processes of wind turbine blades.

TOWER INSPECTION

The safety of wind turbines and the technical personnel is ensured through regular equipment inspections. Annually, life lines, lifting and handling equipment, hoists/fall arrest systems, ladders, fall protection systems, rescue kits, first aid kits, and fire extinguishers are critically inspected by authorized and certified technical personnel. It is crucial that these inspections are carried out without fail, as any lapse could directly jeopardize the safety of personnel in emergency situations where this equipment is needed.

Our Tower Inspection service includes regular inspections of equipment to minimize potential workplace accidents. It involves comprehensive examinations of lifelines and fall arrest systems to ensure their functionality and compliance with safety standards. These inspections should be conducted annually and supported by detailed reporting to ensure thorough compliance and safety assurance.

Additionally, the functionality of lifting and handling equipment, safe use of hoists, condition of ladders, accessibility of rescue kits, contents of first aid kits, and availability of fire extinguishers should be examined with the same meticulousness. This ensures safe working environments in wind turbines, aiming for uninterrupted and safe operational processes.
